The Music Bloggers Guide to SXSW

Share

Designing a digital oracle to divine the future of music

Foxtrot worked with SXSW to create the Music Bloggers Guide, a music discovery platform that showcases new and upcoming artists attending the annual SXSW music festival. With a diverse group of internationally respected independent bloggers providing 100% of the editorial content, the Guide seeks to put the spotlight on artists that tend to be overshadowed by established acts participating in the festival.
The SXSW Music Festival has obviously grown immensely over the past few decades, but our core goals haven't changed: We want to show the world what the future of music sounds like and give obscure, overlooked artists a chance to show our audience what they've got. It's about discovering new music, plain and simple.
– Rory Burbeck, SXSW Music Festival Programmer
