As a brand strategist at Foxtrot you are a thinker with a bias toward action, who takes ownership in translating data and the world around you into meaningful insights and actionable recommendations for our clients.

You should love digging into research, conducting interviews and assessing a wide range of information to zero in on the most salient points.

Your finger is on the pulse of culture, technology and design. You’re both a collaborator and storyteller. Most importantly, you can see possibilities and help persuade our clients to do what’s right by proposing actionable solutions to their toughest brand challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Uncover strategic insights and brand opportunities by mining research and client input
  • Lead and develop the creation of brand strategies including brand platform, architecture, positioning, personality attributes, and journey mapping

  • Provide insights and concepts for brand activations and employee engagement as well as provide guidance on messaging platforms, naming and visual identity systems

  • Cultivate client relationships and make client presentations, creating trust, value and credibility related to strategy

  • Collaborate directly with our design team to translate strategic insights into tangible and meaningful visual and written expressions

  • Facilitate and lead brand workshops and conduct stakeholder interviews

  • Produce client-ready work that is thorough, formatted and grammatically correct

  • Support new business efforts, as needed, to conduct background research on prospective clients, aid in creating pitch or briefing materials, and sharpen scopes of work
 

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree and deep experience in brand, advertising, digital or management consultant agencies
  • Ability to build consensus and work effectively with client stakeholders
  • Ability to prioritize and drive multiple initiatives at any given time
  • Proven critical thinking, content synthesis and research skills
  • Exceptional communication, writing, analysis and organizational skills
  • Able to work independently with confidence, and aware of when to bring the right people in to collaborate

  • Apply conceptual thinking to create digital products and services across multiple platforms, thoughtfully bringing together user and customer needs, business goals and technical realities

  • Develop well-formed UX concepts, including the definition of customer needs, task analysis, and the creation of personas, storyboards, scenarios, user flows and use cases
  • Translate concepts into designs that illustrate simplicity despite system complexity

  • Clearly communicate concepts to Foxtrot team and the client through storytelling and rapid prototyping methods, ranging from paper sketching to digital prototyping

  • Define the User Interface Design through information architecture, wireframes and user flows

  • Create lightweight specifications and style guides to supplement prototypes for our implementation partners

  • The Office Manager provides administrative and general office support to the Partners, Managing Director as it relates to the entire business. Job duties would include but are not limited to, scheduling and planning meetings, running errands, overall office maintenance and supply inventory, conference room management, planning office events and other administrative duties as assigned.
